Amazon just added a ton of new Dash buttons, and they’re bougie AF
Amazon has announced a bunch of new Dash buttons to its lineup so you can order refills of your favorite products with just a click . And it’s clear with this round of additions who they’re looking to target now.
See, when Amazon first launched the Dash buttons, many of the items were your typical household needs – toilet paper, printer ink, trash bags, diapers. Today’s update brings in some pretty bougie brands like Illy Coffee , ZICO Pure Coconut Water , La Roche-Posa , Jolie Paris , Vichy , and – wait for it – Trojan condoms .
To be fair, not all of the new items are luxury skincare and high end food-related, Amazon is now also offering Dash buttons for medicine like Move Free , drinks like Red Bull , and feminine hygiene products like Stayfree pads and Playtex tampons .
So if you’re the kind of person who needs to have Trojan and Red Bull Dash buttons sitting comfortably in your home, now you can do you. Because this is it, guys. This… is the future.
Dash buttons are $5 each .
The ZX Spectrum is coming back as a handheld console
The company that built a re-imagined, miniaturized version of the original classic ZX Spectrum last year is back with a new model – and this time it’s a handheld.
Currently funding on Indiegogo, the Sinclair ZX Spectrum Vega+ Console , is looking to raise £100,000 (around $144,000) over the next month, but it’s a flexible funding goal anyway, so the company will get whatever it raises, even if it falls short of the target.
With the first project raising over £125,000 and retro gaming showing a strong resurgence, it seems likely that it’ll surpass the goal. .
This time around there’s no need to connect the device up to a TV – though you still can for big-screen fun – as there’s an integrated LCD screen ready to go. In fact, while it has 80s retro stylings reminiscent of the Spectrum, it looks a little like a PlayStation Vita.
Tucked away on the top of the device, there’s a microSD expansion slot and volume controls too.
Unlike a Vita, however, it’ll arrive with 1,000 games built-in and should be compatible with all 14,000 or so ZX Spectrum games, the company says.
The Vega+ is being made with Sinclair’s blessing and is a fully-licensed product, so there shouldn’t be any hiccups on that front.
Right now, the company says there’s a working prototype and that it’s ready to start production of the first units. Estimated delivery for those first models is September this year.
The cheapest tier to get your hands on a Vega+ this summer is £100, with red, white and blue limited edition casings being offered exclusively to people who back the crowdfunding campaign.

SanDisk’s new insanely fast microSD cards can hold 14 hours of 4K video
If you’re into shooting 4K video, you’ll probably be really into the newest microSD cards from SanDisk which can hold 14 hours of footage and transfer info insanely fast.
The SanDisk Extreme 256GB microSD card not only has an insane capacity (seriously, 14 hours of 4K footage!), it can transfer your data at a read rate of 100MBps. It has a write speed of 90MBps.
If you slip one of these into a 4K drone — like a DJI Phantom 3 or 4 — you’d swap batteries far more often than memory cards. It’s peace of mind for getting a ton of B-Roll, at least.
There’s also an ‘Ultra’ version with a slightly lower read speed, which SanDisk is positioning for mainstream use (like your phone). It can hold over 24 hours of full HD video.
The Ultra will go on sale in August for $150, while the Extreme will debut at $200 sometime in Q4 2016. SanDisk also says both are “waterproof, temperature-proof, shock proof, and X-ray proof.”
We’re starting to wonder what they can’t do.
