Apple’s Pride celebration includes an Apple Watch band everyone can love

Apple is again celebrating Pride in San Francisco, but this time are gifting employees with a rainbow Apple Watch band for taking part in the festivities.

Many Apple employees have taken to Twitter and Instagram to show off the band, which has a card included letting them know that their participation earned them the band.

It doesn’t appear that Apple is making the band available for purchase, so expect this to be one of the hottest eBay items ever if an employee or 12 decides to cash in.

Some Google Pixel 3 owners can’t use the camera due to a critical bug

Issues with the Google Pixel 3 are piling up after customers got hands on it nearly a month ago. Now, some device owners f ind they can’t use the camera due to a disastrous bug.

Many users have reported this bug on Reddit and Google product forums. Some folks see a blank viewfinder when opening the camera app, while others encounter an error message concerning the camera driver.

This flaw also makes the camera unusable in third-party apps like Instagram, Facebook Messenger, and Snapchat.

Charged’s Owen Williams says that third-party apps are not being able to use the camera because the system thinks it is still being used by another app:

Many users tried remedies like rebooting the phone, clearing cache of the app, and even performing a factory reset on the phone. But most of the attempts have been futile. These users ended up requesting a replacement unit from Google. However, the company is not accepting all replacement requests.

At the moment, there’s no statement from Google regarding a fix. We’ll update the post if the company decides to issue a remedy. However, a Google support executive told a customer that the development team is investigating the bug.

Previously, some users found they couldn’t save photos shot with the camera app. Google promised later to release a fix, but hasn’t yet issued an update to resolve it.

This issue is another mark on the Pixel series’ poor track record over the years. We’re adding it to our Pixel 3 bug tracker, which you can follow on this page .

Oculus to offer $1,499 PC bundle pre-order February 16

After teasing the many partners providing hardware-ready PCs, Oculus announced a pre-order date and pricing for a bundle that includes a brand-new PC and the much-hyped Oculus Rift.

Each bundle includes a so-called “Oculus-Ready PC,” which is designed to take the high graphical output of the company’s flagship VR device. In particular, that means an Nvidia 900 series GPU designed to take the heavy output that VR requires and other key performance bumps.

Additionally, the bundle will include everything that comes with an Oculus Rift pre-order: the device as well as a sensor, a remote, an Xbox One controller and two games, ” EVE: Valkyrie ‘, and ‘ Lucky’s Tale ‘

Oculus has partnered with ASUS, Alienware and Dell for these initial PCs, but there will be more to come.

The bundles will start at $1,499 and be available for pre-order at Best Buy , Amazon , and the Microsoft Store . If you’ve already pre-orderd the Rift and would like a computer, Oculus will offer discounts towards the purchase of a PC in select countries.

All in all, it’s about as close to a plug-and-play solution intrepid VR fans will get this year, albeit with a fairly expensive price tag. But the beauty of a PC is that you can do a lot more with it than melt your eyeballs in a VR headset, so there is real value.

Pre-orders will be available February 16 at 8am PST. Update 2/16/16: Pre-orders are live! Check Best Buy , Amazon , and the Microsoft Store if you want to get your hands on a bundle.
